About the Author

Emilie Cady (1848-1941) studied with "New Thought" teachers, but was always an independent thinker. She was a contemporary of: Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, Ernest Holmes, and Emmet Fox. Her ideas reflect not only the influence of their writings, but also Biblical teachings, as well as the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Dr. Cady's articles were sometimes featured in Unity Magazine.
