Rev. Liz's talk: "Wholehearted Living" 💓
In person and online in our Zoom Cyber Sanctuary.
Dear Beloved Ones,
In October, we begin our "Adventures in Faith" book study series on the New York Times Best Seller, The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown. A subtitle of this book is "Your Guide to a Wholehearted Life." What does it mean to live a "wholehearted life"? What are the components of living wholeheartedly and how does one live this way?
Through her many years of research, Brené Brown found that "wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a deep sense of worthiness and self love." She also asks, What does it take to live and love from a place of worthiness when we fall short from being as good as we think we could or should be?
The results of Brené's research is what we find in her book, The Gifts of Imperfection. Did you know there are gifts in "imperfection"? Do you know what these gifts are and would you like to know how to use these gifts in your daily life?
Join us this Sunday as we begin to explore more about these gifts of imperfection, what these are, and how we can use these gifts to live unencumbered, wholeheartedly with greater compassion, courage, and connection with ourselves and others. Come enjoy a truly inspirational morning with great music by the fabulous Bill Brooks, along with a whole lot of love, laughter, and connection!
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
With great gratitude and love always,
Liz
