I was born and raised in the Great Lakes area, then moved from Milwaukee to La Jolla, California, with my family when I was fourteen.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from San Diego State University, I worked in hospital admissions, then in sales, and finally found my niche when I began an administrative career in higher education at the University of California, San Diego.
While working as an administrative analyst in Department of Academic Computing and Media Services and volunteering as the Chair of the Veterans Association at UCSD, I also performed sacred service for Unity San Diego. During my 11 years of membership there, I served as a Platform Assistant (a role very similar to that of the Prayer Worship Assistant), sang in the choir, and led the “Angels in the Wings” ministry for 7 years.
I moved to Albuquerque in 2011 after accepting the position of Program Planning Manager for the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office at UNM. Unity Santa Fe became my spiritual home in December, 2015.
My sacred service for Unity Santa Fe includes Social Events (Coordinator), Worship Assistant (Team Leader), and Prosperity Team (also Team Leader). Most recently, I said yes to an interim position on the Board of Trustees when the Vice President’s role was suddenly vacated.
If elected, I will assist in the most heart-centered and Spirit-guided manner possible as we proceed with our minster transition process. It is my heart’s desire to help find the ideal minister to carry on the mission of Unity Santa Fe.
