August's Prayer Column - "Conversations with God" πŸ™πŸ½

β€œThe highest thought is always that thought which contains Joy. The clearest words are the words which contain Truth. The grandest feeling is that feeling which you call Love.” Β  Neal Donald Walsch, Conversations With GodConversations with God

I recently came across a copy of Conversations with God. It was a book that helped me many years ago. Taking this statement as true then what we are asked to do in our daily prayer practice is to reach for a connection to the presence of Joy, Truth and Love. Sitting in the silence and tuning into our breath we can calm the mind and quiet our earthly concerned thoughts and attune them to what is Joy, Truth and Love right in this 'now' moment. Now is the only moment in time we have.

No words are needed, just the practicing of the presence of these three qualities in quiet meditation. Can this be the greatest prayer of all for the world at this time?

β€œI tell you; you can speak to Me as you would speak with your best friend. There is no need to recriminate yourself. Simply notice what you’ve been choosing and choose again.” Β  Conversations With God
