Ministry Team Descriptions
Ambiance Ministry Team
This ministry team is responsible for the beautification of the interiors of our building.
Appreciation Ministry Team
This ministry team sends notes of appreciation to the many people who tithe, donate their valuable time and talents to serve the community, and those who do random acts of kindness throughout the course of the year.
Community Action Ministry Team
This ministry team’s mission is to extend love into our local community. We listen for the calls for love, identify the needs of the community, and then take action to fill those needs.
Events Ministry Team
This ministry team works with other teams and the Communications/Projects Administrator to develop and plan events, book speakers and oversee event operations.
Facilities Ministry Team
This ministry team oversees Unity Santa Fe’s building and grounds, including repairs, landscaping, and capital projects.
Flowers Ministry Team
This ministry team arranges the flowers in the sanctuary for Sunday service, special celebrations, and events.
Healing Ministry Teams
HeartLights Healing Ministry Team (Meets 3rd Thurs of the month on ZOOM)
This ministry team consists of energy healers trained through a variety of modalities such as Energy Medicine, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Quantum Healing, and Vibrational Healing. All are based on our connection with the Universal Source of Healing Love.
Sanctuary Healing Ministry Team (Meets IN PERSON on 1st & 3rd Sundays at noon)
This ministry team consists of energy healers trained in various modalities such as Vibrational healing and Reiki. In person individual healing is offered in a group setting in the sanctuary following Sun Service.
Hospitality Ministry Team
This ministry team sets up the CommUnity Room for food and refreshments every Sunday. This team arrives early, brews the coffee, plates snacks, keeps track of supplies, and cleans up after hospitality.
Joyful Singers Choir
This ministry team provides a vibrant celebration of our shared spirit through beautiful music with 6 performances throughout the year.
Office Support Ministry Team
This ministry team provides administrative support for our office during the week and on Sundays before and after the service.
Pet Ministry Team
This ministry team supports spiritual growth through a shared love and appreciation of the deep spiritual and healing nature of animal companions. The team focuses on our oneness and divinity with our animal companions, increasing awareness of the needs of pets and their owners, providing resources and assistance to animals and their guardians, and offering pet loss support to our community.

Platform Assistants’ Ministry Team
Platform assistants participate and lead a portion of Sunday and special services. They are the familiar face of Unity Santa Fe in the absence of our minister. They ensure the service runs smoothly and joyfully. Platform Assistants are selected by the Minister.
Prayer Practitioners’ Ministry Team
This ministry team prays with congregants after Sunday services and when otherwise requested and holds sacred space with prayer requests. Members of this ministry team must interview with the Minister and attend Prayer Practitioner training.
Production Ministry Team
Projector/Lights (Contract position) - These production team members project the pre-created PowerPoint music lyrics and information slides and provide lighting support during the services and special events. Members also assist in creating and maintaining our song slide library.
Sound & Live Streaming (ZOOM) (Contract Position) - These production team members provide sound support during services and special events and are responsible for operating our live-streaming (Zoom) computer and cameras for services and special events, editing videos, and posting on our website and YouTube each week.
CyberSanctuary – These team members are hosts for Zoom during Sunday services. They welcome congregants into the Zoom Cyber Sanctuary, post information in the Zoom chat, and host a community gathering on Zoom immediately after the service. This ministry team is an opportunity to serve while attending remotely.
Prosperity Ministry Team
This ministry team creates and oversees our pledge drives, fundraising campaigns, and events to help Unity Santa Fe achieve and maintain financial security so that we may fulfill our mission and vision through expansion of our key ministries.
Sacred Spaces Ministry Team
This ministry team maintains our beautiful outdoor Sacred Spaces which include the Medicine Wheel, Relationship Labyrinth and Meditation Garden. Our leaders conduct sacred ceremonies such as blessings for Solstice & Equinox. These spaces are available for personal prayer and meditation, weddings, interspiritual celebrations and inspiration, and enjoyment for one and all.
Sunday Support Ministry Team
This ministry team prepares our facility before and after Sunday and special services including checking candles, preparing salt trays, checking heat, and straightening sanctuary after service.
Technology Ministry Team
This ministry team oversees the various technology systems at Unity Santa Fe – network infrastructure, software, telecommunications, security, and audio/visual, including the evaluation and purchasing of equipment and software.
Welcoming Ministry Team (Usher/Greeters)
This ministry team is the “first face of Unity Santa Fe” as they greet and warmly welcome congregants and first timers to Sunday service, special programs, and events. Team members distribute first time packets and assist with seating.
