I've been in Iowa farm country for the past 10 days. It's a beautiful 6 acre conference center that has 100 year-old trees standing tall with great spreading branches over the green, green grass. For more than 50 years these trees have seen people come and go from this piece of earth.
They are people who have been finding their communication with their inner guidance, with their soul, realizing that there's more to life than material pursuits. These people have learned healing techniques and taken them out into the world.
Patiently all the elements of nature including these trees have held the energy here. Patiently the trees have absorbed our emotions my shaman tells me and the trees can convert those emotions to a healing frequency.
Trees are a living prayer, as is all of nature. A deer crosses the trail radiating a gentle presence. Three rabbits freeze in midst of their eating as I walk by showing me stillness in the moment. The birds soar overhead reminding me to relax, be free.
The sun warms the land and reminds me to stay cool and relaxed. A storm blows up and the winds and rain refresh the earth.
This is life showing us how to live life as if we are Praying Without Ceasing.
