Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Each month, we are highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.
CARRYING YOUR STUFF
People without homes need a way to carry their stuff around. For the month of June, our Care & Share program will be collecting DUFFLE BAGS AND BACKPACKS, new or gently used, to help our friends schlep their stuff around. These will go to the Resource Center, a group of volunteers that serves the needs of our unhoused neighbors. Care & Share is brought to you by our awesome Community Action Team!
ALSO, Bienvenidos Outreach, a local nonprofit that provides food for low-income people, desperately needs EGG CARTONS. Now you know what to do with those empty egg cartons that you thought there must be a use for! Just bring them to Unity and Marietta Hubler will take them to Bienvenidos.
