Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Each month, we are highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.
Winter is Coming
Our friends without homes will soon be shivering! Let's help them keep warm by offering them cozy winter clothes! This can include long pants, long-sleeve shirts, good shoes or boots, sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats, coats, long underwear, or socks. Underwear and socks MUST be new, all other items can be gently used. Men's clothes will go to St. Elizabeth Men's shelter, women's and children's clothes will go to Casa Familia.
ITEMS ACCEPTED THIS MONTH:
• Long pants

• Good shoes or boots
• Sweaters
• Scarves
• Gloves
• Hats
• Coats
• Long underwear
• Socks
ALSO, Bienvenidos Outreach, a local nonprofit that provides food for low-income people, desperately needs EGG CARTONS. Now you know what to do with those empty egg cartons that you thought there must be a use for! Just bring them to Unity and Marietta Hubler will take them to Bienvenidos.
