Most of us are familiar with Daniel Namod’s song “When I Pray”. The first line is “When I pray, I feel my heart go deeper into my God”. With all due respect to Mr. Namod, I would like to go even deeper with this theme. In doing so, I also substitute the word “Love” for God.
When I pray, I feel my thoughts go deeper into Love. I align with the One Mind, the Omniscience of the Divine Self, and allow it to broaden my awareness and raise my consciousness far beyond what my human mind can imagine.
When I pray, I feel my heart go deeper into Love. I speak here of the heart of my being. I return to center and experience the expansion of my Divine Core. I embrace all of creation without exception or limitation. I accept all that is AS it is and truly forgive all errors including my own.
When I pray, I feel my soul go deeper into Love. I know myself as fully human and fully divine, a spiritual being on this human journey learning to love, serve and remember WHO I AM. In this moment of profound presence, I experience myself as Life, Light, and Power, and I raise my vibration to attune with these Divine qualities.
When I pray, I know more deeply my Oneness with All That Is, and I rejoice and give thanks. I AM so blessed.
