Have you ever wondered what "prayer" is; why some prayers appear to be answered and some do not; what the true purpose of prayer is; who or what does one pray to and why; what are the differences between different types of prayers; and what is affirmative prayer as used by Unity?
If you've wondered about prayer in any way, this course is for you!!
In “How to Pray Without Talking to God” you will:
• Cultivate a habit of daily prayer and meditation
• Define what is prayer.
• Understand why we pray.
• Deepen your understanding of your Divine nature and oneness with the Divine
• Learn and apply the 5-Step Affirmative Prayer Process
• Deepen understanding of denials and affirmations
• Learn how to pray with others
Unity minister Linda Martella-Whitsett provides a new framework for thinking about prayer that revolutionizes our concept and practice of prayer. Martella-Whitsett encourages seekers to look within rather than outside themselves for a God in the sky, for the spark of the divine that is at the core of their being.
