Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Each month, we are highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.
CLOTHING OUR NEIGHBORS
During the month of September, our Unity Care & Share program is collecting clothing for our neighbors without homes. Any type of clothing will be accepted, but especially needed items are warm winter clothes and men's clothes, especially pants. - Warm winter clothes
- Men's clothes, especially pants
- Any type of clothing
ALSO ACCEPTED THIS MONTH:
ALSO, Bienvenidos Outreach, a local nonprofit that provides food for low-income people, desperately needs EGG CARTONS. Now you know what to do with those empty egg cartons that you thought there must be a use for! Just bring them to Unity and Marietta Hubler will take them to Bienvenidos.
