Alternate Trustee & Keeper of the Flame

Bob Courtney was born during World War II in Tucson Arizona, where his father was stationed in the Army air Corps as fighter pilot instructor. -After the war, he and his family moved to Shreveport Louisiana where he grew up, graduated from high school and college, Centenary College of Louisiana. After one year post graduate studies at LSU in Baton Rouge he decided to come to Texas and study law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

He graduated in 1970 and practiced primarily family law until 2017; he was a board-certified family specialist for 30 years. Β He was a credential Ed distinguish mediator and mediated for 25 years all family law cases.

Bob joined Unity of Fort Worth in the year 2000 and will celebrate 20 years as a Unitek later this year. Β Β He sang in the choir there for 11 years, was head of the greeters’ team for eight years, and was on the board for of trustees for one term. He brings mediation and negotiation skills to the board and a quite a bit of experience in unity principles over the last 20 years. He considers it an honor to serve on the board at Unity Santa Fe.
