Rev. Hollis Walker, an interfaith minister and chaplain, will talk on behalf of the Memory Care Alliance about becoming a "Dementia Friend." Hollis has personal and professional experience with people living with dementia.
The intention of her talk is to raise awareness and understanding of dementia and to promote compassion and care for those living with dementia and their families in our area. People with dementia can continue to have meaningful lives, especially with the support of our community.
Whether you already have experience with dementia or not, this talk will help prepare you to be a "Dementia Friend."
