Part-time Audio Visual Technician needed for Unity Santa Fe, a small Interspiritual community, located in Santa Fe, NM (www.unitysantafe.org). This position is contract for approximately 2-1/2 hours on Sundays and additional hours for special services/events. Rate is negotiable.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining audio and visual technology, including assessing maintenance and technical issues with recording or sound equipment
- Setting up and monitoring audio visual equipment, such as projectors, cameras, microphones, and sound system components.
- Troubleshooting equipment problems, installing needed systems, and linking multiple pieces of hardware together.
- Working with staff and volunteers in setting up or taking down equipment before and after services/events.
- Making recommendations on procurement of new equipment/software upgrades
- Having the ability to set up custom lighting and spotlight equipment, a plus
